Amazon Prime Early Access: Get an RTX 3090 Ti for Its Lowest Price Ever

UPDATE: The $999 deal is gone, but there are still chances to save on GPUs.

Oh look, it's day 2 of the October Prime Day sale officially titled Amazon Prime Early Access. Amazon's second big deals event of the year probably would have snuck up on me if not for the fact my job is tied to events like this. I've been preparing like crazy, but what I wasn't prepared for was this incredible deal on a Zotac Gaming NVIDIA RTX 3090 Ti graphics card for $999. It's turned out to be one of the most popular PC deals at Amazon during this Black Friday preview sale.

The price is only for Prime members. You can sign up for a 30-day free trial of Amazon Prime, or if you're a student, you can get 6 free months of Prime Student.

With the 40-series cards just around the corner, it makes sense that we're seeing price drops on the 30-series cards, but I was pretty surprised to see such a dramatic price drop for a pretty solid 3090 Ti. Given the prices of the upcoming 40-series, this is a great opportunity to upgrade your existing set-up if you've got a thousand bucks just laying around.

We know the 40 series cards are powerful, but that gain in power is matched by a gain in price. So while they're amazing cards in their own right, they 30 series is still pretty ridiculous as far as performance is concerned, and it's been so dang hard to get your hands on a 3090 Ti since release, it's pretty hard to say no to a deal like this.
